Gipfel Outdoors leads summer expeditions focused on leadership development and self-discovery. These expeditions are designed for middle and high school students who are interested in discovering more about themselves and building age-appropriate leadership skills. Expeditions are currently only offered to those in, or willing to travel, to southwest Idaho. Students will participate in pre-course work and an afternoon focusing on preparation. Expeditions are five days in the field and will be focusing on wilderness travel over mountains and through valleys.

Mini-expeditions such as rock climbing, mountain biking, or hiking are a great way to develop and discuss leadership skills. Gipfel Outdoors offers monthly leadership sessions throughout the school year that focus on outdoor skills and end with a lesson on leadership traits and an action plan for students who participate.
